What are the recommended fabric care instructions?
Machine wash cold. Â No chlorine bleach. Â Tumble dry on low heat. Remove promptly. Â Fableism fabrics are 100% cotton and all cotton fabrics will shrink on average 3-5% upon washing. Â Please plan your projects accordingly.
How do I sew with woven fabrics?
Sewing with woven fabrics requires a little extra work because they fray much easier than regular cotton fabrics.
a) You can pre-wash your fabrics to help limit the fraying and shrinkage before you sew your porjects.
b) You can startch your fabrics as you iron them. This will act as a glue and reduce the amount of fraying while you are sewing.
My personal preferred method if starching. You can get starch spray at Walmart (its not expensive!)
Where do you get your fabrics?
I get all my fabrics from Fableism Supply Co. They are my favorite fabrics to use!
Where do you get your quilt patterns?
I get most of the quilt patterns I use from Then Came June. However, there are many others that I love to use too!
I always specify the quilt pattern I use in the description of my quilt listings.
